In 1992. Mr Bogdan received the farm from his parents, at that time the farm had 8 cows and 18ha of land. Currently, the farm has 120ha of land, of which 52ha is owned. Mr Bogdan runs the farm together with his wife Monika and two sons. The farm specialised in milk production. They currently keep 86 Holstein-Fresian cows, 56 of which are already dairy. The farmers mostly produce their own feed from their own components, only buying premixes and additives. The current sowing structure consists of: maize - 18ha, cereals - 15ha, potatoes - 2ha, intercrops - 15ha, and grasses with lucerne - 80ha Thanks to sustainable practices, the farm is a beneficiary of subsidies (eco-schemes), as they commit to sowing intercrops, applying manure to the soil and mixing it in within 12 hours of spreading. The farmer's immediate plan is to switch to no-till or strip-till, as well as increase the herd to 160 head and build a calf barn, and this will happen thanks to the loan from HeavyFianance. The loan will be used to purchase cows, as the farmers have applied to purchase additional cows through the farm improvement agencies.
