"We've been farming for 10 years now, and we started when we moved to the countryside after my studies and had some land we didn't want to rent out." explained by the farmer herself.

Now the businesswoman has extended her farm territory to 36.97 hectares, where she owns 6.52 hectares.

Today, she runs a mixed farm having 35 horned cattle. The farm has just sold 15, and is now planning to renew their herd and switch to purebred animals. In May 2023, the project owner will sell another 10 adult bulls and replace them with 10 pedigree heifers. The remaining animals will be dairy cows and crossbred beef heifers, as well as small calf calves. Within the next 2 years, the farm expects to have 20 bred bull cows and about 40 calf calves.

The businesswoman also cultivates winter wheat and triticale, oats. As the farm is located in a disadvantaged area where the land is not very fertile, the focus has been put more towards livestock activities.

Their machinery fleet includes a tractor Masey Ferguson 2018, tractor Case 2015, rake Masey Ferguson 2022, baler Masey Ferguson 2020, mower Masey Fergusom 2018, a combine harvester Class Mercatos, about 20 years old. The farm claims to have all the other necessary implements for cultivation.

The farm sells the cattle at market price to the buyers who pay the highest price, most recently Krekenavos mėsa, and to people for further breeding. While grains are being sold to the surrounding population and feed the rest to the cattle.

Now the project owner is looking for an additional finance to increase the working capital.
