FARM OVERVIEW
A mixed-use farm established in 2021 in the Šilalė district operates in livestock farming and crop–vegetable production. The farm grows grain crops and vegetables, which are used both for internal farm needs and for sale. Currently, the farmer declares 7.93 hectares of agricultural land, of which 2 hectares are owned, while the remaining area is cultivated under lease agreements.
The farm is managed by a single owner who has all the essential equipment required for daily operations, including a tractor, a trailer, and other basic agricultural implements, allowing the farm to operate independently. At present, the farm maintains a herd of 7 cattle, which forms the core of its livestock activity.
PURPOSE OF FINANCING
The farmer is applying to the Insoil investor community for working capital financing. The requested funds will be used to cover current operating expenses, including the purchase of fuel, fertilizers, and other essential agricultural inputs. This financing will support smooth farm operations and ensure stable preparation for the upcoming agricultural season.
LOAN SECURITY AND EXPERIENCE
This is the farmer’s first loan on the Insoil platform. Although the farm operates on a small scale, it is diversified, and the mixed business model—combining livestock farming with crop and vegetable production—helps reduce operational risk and balance cash flows.
PROJECT ASSESSMENT
The project is assessed as a small-scale, clearly defined, and transparent investment opportunity, suitable for investors seeking short-term working capital projects. The financing will contribute to the farm’s operational stability and support its continued development at the regional level.

Project risks

For this project, there is a risk of losing all the profits made and the funds invested.

In this case, if the Project Owner fails to fulfill its obligations, the Platform Operator will take all necessary measures to protect the interests of investors and use the provided collateral, but the Platform Operator does not guarantee the full fulfillment of the Project Owner's obligations.

Financial agreements are not subject to the insurance protection established by the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.

Additional information:

If the project owner does not collect the amounts to be financed, the collected funds will be returned to the funders by transferring them to the account from which they were transferred. The Platform Operator also has the right to offer the Project Owner to reduce the amount to be financed during the Project financing term or to extend the Project financing term. In this case, if the amount to be financed is reduced or the term of financing the Project is extended, it shall in all cases be announced on the Platform and the Fund's financiers shall be informed.
