Project Summary
The project belongs to a crop farming operation located in the Šakiai district, operating since 2006. The farm has nearly 20 years of operating experience in a region considered one of the most fertile in Lithuania. The requested financing is intended to refinance the existing loan and optimize cash flows by extending the repayment structure over a longer period.

Farm Overview
The farm was established in 2006 in the Šakiai district. It currently declares nearly 150 hectares of agricultural land, of which 105 hectares are owned. The farmer’s daughter operates a separate farm nearby, and together the family cultivates around 200 hectares of land.

Operating Model and Sustainability
The farm specializes in crop production, primarily cultivating wheat, rapeseed, peas, and barley. Land is managed using no-till practices, supported by crop rotation and cover crops. This farming model focuses on soil preservation and long-term operational continuity.

Family Farming Model
The farmer’s daughter operates a separate farm alongside the main operation. Together, the family cultivates around 200 hectares of land, creating a broader family-based farming structure.

Relationship with InSoil
The farm has been a member of the InSoil community since 2021. During the cooperation period, 4 similar loans with a total amount of EUR 55,000 have been fully repaid. Currently, there is one active loan of EUR 22,000, with repayment scheduled for October–November.

Financing Purpose
To better align debt servicing with the farm’s cash flows, the farmer plans to fully refinance the existing EUR 22,000 loan using the newly requested financing. The new loan will be structured over a longer repayment period, reducing short-term repayment concentration and better aligning the debt structure with the farm’s cash flow profile.

Conclusion
The project represents an experienced crop farm with a significant share of owned land, a sustainable land management model, and a long-standing relationship with InSoil. The financing purpose is clearly defined – to refinance the existing loan and extend the repayment structure over a longer period, thereby optimizing the farm’s cash flows.
