Project Summary
The project belongs to a specialized berry farm operating in the Klaipėda district since 2006. The farm grows strawberries and raspberries, focusing on a niche and seasonal agricultural segment where timely preparation for each stage of the production cycle is important. The requested financing is intended for working capital and the acquisition of additional machinery.

Farm Overview
The farm was established in 2006 in the Klaipėda district. It currently declares 18 hectares of land, while total owned land amounts to 30 hectares. The remaining 12 hectares are declared by the farmer’s wife’s farm. Part of the family-owned land is therefore operated through separate family farms.

Operating Model and Specialization
The farm specializes in berry production, primarily growing strawberries and raspberries. This specialization allows the farm to focus on a niche agricultural segment where seasonality, timely preparation, and proper organization of the full growing and harvesting cycle are particularly important.

Relationship with InSoil
The farm has been a member of the InSoil community since 2023. During the cooperation period, 3 loans with a total amount of EUR 27,500 have been fully repaid. Currently, there is one active loan with an outstanding balance of approximately EUR 13,000.

Financing Purpose
The requested funds will be used for working capital needs and the acquisition of additional machinery. Part of the financing will be allocated to the purchase of seedlings, fuel, and other inputs required for farm operations, while the farm also plans to purchase several agricultural implements from abroad.

Conclusion
The project represents a specialized berry farm with long operating experience, a clearly defined business focus, an owned land base, and an established cooperation history with InSoil. The financing purpose is clearly defined and aimed both at supporting current operating needs and acquiring additional machinery.
