The mixed farm, located in the Šilutė district, has been operating since 2019. The farm is engaged in both crop production and beef cattle farming. It currently keeps 53 beef cattle, which generate the majority of the farm’s income.
In 2026, the farmer declared 18.91 hectares of agricultural land, of which 6.25 hectares are owned by the farmer. The farm is currently in an expansion phase, with plans to increase the total managed agricultural land area to 50 hectares, while further developing its crop production activities.
The farmer is seeking EUR 25,000 in financing to purchase a newer tractor. The capacity of the machinery currently used on the farm is insufficient to efficiently carry out the existing workload, while the planned expansion of the cultivated land area will further increase the need for reliable machinery. The newer tractor will be used directly in the farm’s daily operations, including land cultivation, feed preparation, and other agricultural activities.
The investment will allow the farmer to upgrade the farm’s machinery base, improve operational efficiency, and ensure sufficient technical capacity to support the planned expansion of the farm to 50 hectares.
