The agricultural company SIA Solum was founded in 1997 with a main focus on crop production. Now, the company cultivates 460 hectares, where the 150 hectares are owned. The farm is located in Briģi, Ludza Municipality, where crops such as winter wheat, barley, and oilseed rape are grown.

The company's technical fleet consists of A New Holland combine, Claas and Massey Ferguson tractors, a seed drill, a sprayer, and a spreader.

To refinance its first loan on the HeavyFinance platform, the company is looking for 15 700 € and will provide 16.33 hectares of owned land as collateral. The valuation of the land was evaluated based on the market price in the area with a 20% discount.

SIA Solum has been meeting its financial obligations in a timely manner.
