The farmer has been running the farm since 2015 when she took it over from her parents. She runs the farm jointly with her husband.
They currently have 32 hectares of which 19ha is owned by them. 10ha are occupied by meadows, 8ha are sown with corn, 1ha with wheat, and 14ha with rye. Crops are mainly used for cattle feed. At this point, they own 14 dairy cows and 34 head beef cattle. They belong to a group of beef cattle producers - Bizon 3 (this is a group of producers who are concerned about the high quality of the meat produced and better prices for associates).

They received a non-refundable grant in 2021 to complete the construction of a beef cattle hall. Construction has already been completed - the hall is 530m2 and houses 120 cattle. The farmer's main goal for the next few years is to increase milk production, so she plans to use the loan funds to buy 10 dairy cows, and 10 high-milking heifers, purchase a wire milking machine for 6 apparatuses and buy a milk tank for 3,000 liters.
This is the client's second loan to complete the planned purchases.
The revenue for 2020 consists of 8 057€ in subsidies.
The revenue for 2021 consists of 76 480€ in subsidies.
Project risks
For this project, there is a risk of losing all the profits made and the funds invested.
In this case, if the Project Owner fails to fulfill its obligations, the Platform Operator will take all necessary measures to protect the interests of investors and use the provided collateral, but the Platform Operator does not guarantee the full fulfillment of the Project Owner's obligations.
Financial agreements are not subject to the insurance protection established by the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.
Additional information:
If the project owner does not collect the amounts to be financed, the collected funds will be returned to the funders by transferring them to the account from which they were transferred. The Platform Operator also has the right to offer the Project Owner to reduce the amount to be financed during the Project financing term or to extend the Project financing term. In this case, if the amount to be financed is reduced or the term of financing the Project is extended, it shall in all cases be announced on the Platform and the Fund's financiers shall be informed.
