The farmer took over the farm from his father 22 years ago with 20 hectares of land. Since then, he has gradually bought the land to extend the farm and now has 60 hectares of own land and 40 hectares of lease land.

To date, he has allocated his farmland with various crops: 28 ha of rapeseed, 20 ha of wheat, 60 ha of triticale and 30 ha of barley.

The crops from the farm are being sold to regular customers, including Central Seed and Stokłosa Skupy, a Polish leading feed producer for poultry and pigs. 

He works on the farm himself with occasional help from his father. Moreover, the farm is well-equipped with a wide range of machinery;

Compared to last year, the farmer has gained 38ha of land. He is currently farming 70% of the acreage without ploughing, the latest loan was to help with the transition to no-till.
Currently, he needs funds for working capital to buy fertilisers.

This is the client's second loan with the first being repaid on time. The first loan is secured with LTV level of 62,61%.

Project risks

For this project, there is a risk of losing all the profits made and the funds invested.

In this case, if the Project Owner fails to fulfill its obligations, the Platform Operator will take all necessary measures to protect the interests of investors and use the provided collateral, but the Platform Operator does not guarantee the full fulfillment of the Project Owner's obligations.

Financial agreements are not subject to the insurance protection established by the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.

Additional information:

If the project owner does not collect the amounts to be financed, the collected funds will be returned to the funders by transferring them to the account from which they were transferred. The Platform Operator also has the right to offer the Project Owner to reduce the amount to be financed during the Project financing term or to extend the Project financing term. In this case, if the amount to be financed is reduced or the term of financing the Project is extended, it shall in all cases be announced on the Platform and the Fund's financiers shall be informed.
